DETAILED ITINERARY
Meet your guides in the lobby of the Hotel Westin Paris. We’ll then hop a quick metro train to our ride departure point behind Paris city hall. Head out for a light and easy sunrise spin past the Louvre and on to the TDF finish course. Bike along the Seine, past the avenue George V, the Louvre and up Paris’ Champs Elysees. This is one of the only times you’ll be able to bike around downtown Paris without a car in sight. Not to be missed!
Check in with your Spyns guide at reception before VIP viewing in the Westin’s Presidential suite, with balcony overlooking the race course (and Eiffel Tower). Enjoy the Tour’s moving caravan before the pro riders complete 9 laps. Open bar, snacks, and sushi included. It’s the only way to go and much more fun than overpriced and no-AC grandstands.
The riders arrive for an exciting 8 laps + 1 victory lap. The winner receives the yellow jersey just up the Champs Elysees from your VIP suite/balcony. You’ll be able to walk a few blocks to Place de la Concorde to see the team buses and perhaps catch a glimpse of your favourite riders.
OPTIONAL: Meet in the Westin Lobby or at the Eiffel Tower for dinner at the Eiffel Tower’s gourmet restaurant, Le 58. Located on the largest observation deck, enjoy unparalleled views of Paris by night before relaxed dinner. Stay in the tower until midnight to see it light up. The best way to end your “day at the races.” CAUTION: +$100/person supplement applies.
